We are Hot Banana. an ensemble of professional and semi-professional musicians who have formed themselves into a a band playing the best of 1950s -1960s music along with songs from Motown and other great songs to get you up and dancing and have an evening that is exciting. fun, and memorable.
A five piece band with a big sound. We play the songs songs as close to the originals as possible and hopefully bring those memories flooding back . With all members singing backing vocals we have a very full sound that will have you singing along and dancing the night away.
Our band members
Deano is our lead vocal and rhythm guitarist.
Singing from a very young age, Deano has fronted many bands playing different musical styles but his major influences have been Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Four Seasons, to name a few.
Richard is our drummer and backing vocals.
Rich has been playing in bands. professionally and semi-professionally for many years both in UK and abroad.
Scot is our keyboard player and backing vocals. A professional musician performing both here in the UK and abroad for some high profile audiences. Scot has also played in many bands that are household names and his keyboard skills give us some special sounds that allow us to perform our songs as close to the originals as possible.
Dave is our lead guitarist and backing vocals. Dave also sings lead vocals in some songs.
A published songwriter and session musician for Phonogram and Bronze. Toured with The Pirates, Darts, Lone Star, Steve Marriott, Sweet, members of the Kinks, Tony McPhee and The Groundhogs, Wilko Johnson, Paul Young, Danny & The Ju
Tubbs Dogget! Yes great name Tubbs is our bass guitarist and Backing Vocals.
Many years experience doing cabaret and tribute shows all over the UK and Europe, Summer seasons and various holiday camps on both a pro and semi pro basis in all styles of music
Some TV work ,namely three series of the prime time ITV drama William and Mary as part of the featured band, the Emerald Dogs.
Also play Drums and Guitar and have a keen interest in Sound Engineering.
